About
the founder

Camilla Barlocco brings more than a decade of experience in branding, marketing, and communication, working both in-house and with agencies, primarily within the renewable energy sector.

She has served tech providers and energy generators, specialising in building businesses' brand identity through a holistic approach that integrates communication, branding, marketing, corporate culture, and sustainability.

Camilla specialises in developing strategies and processes to build brands from scratch for startups, scaling organisations, and companies facing transformative times due to M&A, cultural shifts, and rebranding.

Throughout her career, she worked alongside C-suite and leadership teams, heading brands from inception to market-leading positions.

She has also curated successful multimedia brand awareness campaigns focused on sustainability education and talent acquisition.

As an experienced communication leader, Camilla has steered corporate external and internal communication strategies, focusing on messaging and quality employee engagement in collaboration with HR functions. Later in her career, she successfully led stakeholder engagement and rebranding for cultural integration following large Mergers and Acquisitions.

Camilla holds a Bachelor's degree in Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa, specialising in Chinese studies from the University of Turin, Italy, and a Master's degree in Global Media from the University of Westminster, England. She also graduated from the Chinese Language program at Beijing Language University, China, and from the Leading Sustainable Corporate Program at The Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, England.

Outside of her professional life, Camilla can geek out about theatre, comics, creative writing, and artificial intelligence in digital communications and marketing while lurking from one sports disaster to another. She is a competing swimmer, a hopeless triathlete, a table football master, an aspiring ping pong sensei, a really no-dangerous kickboxer, and a black-belt of bluntness; not a sport, yet requiring hours of fearless dedication.
